Batchelor, Manton, and Batchelor 2 Solar Farms
The Batchelor, Manton, and Batchelor 2 Solar Farms are all located in the Northern Territory, approximately 100km South of Darwin. Each of the solar farms has a 10MW capacity and they are all connected via the local 22kV distribution network to the Batchelor and Manton 132/22kV zone substations.
- The T2 Energy scope of work on each of these three projects included:
• 1 x 22kV Solar Farm Substation Building, including supply and installation of:
- 22kV Eaton XIRIA Switchboard
- Dual 48VDC Chargers and 100AHr Battery Systems
- Solar Farm Communications Panel
- 415VAC Distribution Board
- Fire Detection and Alarm System
• 1 x 22kV Utility Substation Building, including supply and installation of:
- 22kV Schneider SM6 Switchboard
- Utility Communications Panel
- 415VAC Distribution Board
- Fire Detection and Alarm System
The manufacture, installation, testing, and site delivery of the three 22kV Switchrooms was undertaken over the period January to September 2020.
