Batchelor, Manton, and Batchelor 2 Solar Farms

The Batchelor, Manton, and Batchelor 2 Solar Farms are all located in the Northern Territory, approximately 100km South of Darwin. Each of the solar farms has a 10MW capacity and they are all connected via the local 22kV distribution network to the Batchelor and Manton 132/22kV zone substations.

- The T2 Energy scope of work on each of these three projects included:

• 1 x 22kV Solar Farm Substation Building, including supply and installation of:

  • 22kV Eaton XIRIA Switchboard
  • Dual 48VDC Chargers and 100AHr Battery Systems
  • Solar Farm Communications Panel
  • 415VAC Distribution Board
  • Fire Detection and Alarm System

• 1 x 22kV Utility Substation Building, including supply and installation of:

  • 22kV Schneider SM6 Switchboard
  • Utility Communications Panel
  • 415VAC Distribution Board
  • Fire Detection and Alarm System
  • • 1 x 100kVA 22/0.415kV Distribution Transformer in Outdoor Kiosk (switchroom services supply)
  • • 1 x 150kVA 22/0.690kV Harmonic Filter Transformer in Outdoor Kiosk
  • The manufacture, installation, testing, and site delivery of the three 22kV Switchrooms was undertaken over the period January to September 2020.
