Gannawarra Solar Farm

T2 Energy was responsible for the design and manufacture of the 33kV Switchroom and Control Room building and the Powercor Utility building at the 60MW Gannawarra Solar Farm which is located west of Kerang in north-west Victoria.

Gannawarra Solar Farm was the first large-scale solar farm to be constructed in Victoria and has been integrated with the Gannawarra Energy Storage System – a 25MW / 50MWh Tesla Powerpack battery.

The T2 Energy scope of work on this project included:

• 2 x Substation Buildings
• 33kV Schneider GHA switchboard
• Dual 110VDC Charger and Battery Systems
• 50MVA 33/66kV Transformer Protection Panel
• Solar Farm Metering Panel
• 415VAC Distribution Board
• Fire detection and Alarm System
