Swan Hill Solar Farm

The Swan Hill Solar Farm in Victoria is a 19MW solar farm with more than 50,000 solar panels operating on a single axis tracking system.

The 22kV Substation Building, including Control Room, for this solar farm was manufactured, supplied, and installed by T2 Energy, and included the following:

• 1 x Modified 40ft Container Substation Building
• 2 x 22kV Schneider SM6 switchboards
• 110VDC Battery Charger and Battery Bank
• 230VAC UPS and Battery Bank
• Solar Farm Metering Panel
• 415VAC Distribution Board
• Fire detection and Alarm System

The manufacture, installation, and testing of this equipment was undertaken from December 2017 to April 2018, with the switchroom building delivered and installed on site in April 2018.

The solar farm was officially opened in July 2018.
